Does anyone have a problem keeping their 65% beads at 65%? I ordered 1 1/2 lbs a few weeks ago (2x the amount I need) and I cant get my coolidor below 68%. I had 70% beads for about 3 years and they worked fairly well. I have calibrated my hydrometer and all that. Do I just need to wait longer or is there an issue with the 65% beads? Also they are almost all white now, started of about 70% clear.

To check your beads you can put them in a ziplock with your hygrometer. But if they are mostly white, it sounds like they were releasing moisture and it may be they just need time to stabilize. :-)

I havent had any issues with my 65% beads. But also remember this is the time of year that the weather is changing. In the coming months(just like in spring) we will see many threads asking about Rh and humidor issues.

I recently kept a shotglass of distilled water in my humidor to bump the humidity up a bit, my 65% RH heartfelt tube so far eh...after a month it's 59-60 RH.
