I am now down 93 pounds! I went from morbidly obese (342 pounds) on 7/5 to obese, and now I am only overweight (249 pounds). :-) I was a size 46 waist pant on 7/5, and now I am down to a size 38 waist pant. :-) It is so easy to lose weight if you put your mind to it. :-)

We're all very proud of our Elderboy! Having seen him(barely) at the recent herf, I can vouch that he is a mere shadow of his former self!

Ok I was interested because I quit cigarettes in April and for a few months not working now, so I got heavier. I am a little over 6'2" and was at 240. I lost 10 consistent lbs since Xmas, mostly watching the sugars and carbs, and treadmill each day. 227 right now and probably just want to lose about 10 more. That's why I was reading this thread and realized you must be pretty close to where you want to be. Then it's maintenance, right ?

First of all, good job! :-)

The next step will be the transition phase, then maintenance.

First I am going to start eating fruits again and the high starch vegetables that I eliminated during the fat burn period.

This house all the potato chips and candy are gone and fruit is everywhere. LOL I eat like a monkey now. :-) To me any vegetables are good. Raw carrots with lowfat ranch is a good snack. I do have some 100 cal treats, but I found the 2 miles in the morning and a few 10 min exercise breaks are keeping my metabolism upscale.

I just noticed my lifestyle change the last 6 months was going to be trouble after 36 waist for years began to be difficult to get in to so I made some subtle healthy changes. Just better diet and more exercise. You seriously did a great job and had one heck of a battle. :-)
