No, it depends on what I'm shaving.

I use a throwaway Gillette and whatever shaving cream I have. I don't shave on Fridays or weekends unless I "have to". I had a full beard for years but the red hair became whiter and whiter and I looked like crap so I shaved it off....now I'm a stud muffin.

Electric...they still don't trust me with a blade!

I don't think we really want to know the answer to this.
:-)
Electric for me.

A helmet full of cold water and a bowie knife!

Actually a Gillette Sensor Excell. I know the fusion is the next big thing, but I'm not very good with change.

I was gifted a 4-blade battery-vibrating wunderazor and enough blades to last two years (this was about two years ago). I used that with Mary Kay for-men shaving cream and was pretty happy with it.
I recently switched to working out in a gym in the evening, so I'd shower post-workout instead of in the morning. Since making that switch my wife bought me a three-round-head electric razor and I'm getting used to it. Makes the morning routine much faster!
When I'm staying in the barracks during a WWII reenactment I used a 1940's style double-blade razor, brush, cup, etc.
All work fine for me. My skin is made out of the same stuff they make golf balls out of...

Rarely.
Seriously, the best shave I can get at home is with the Merkur safety razor but even that leaves tons of ingrown hairs. I'm just going to get a beard trimmer.

Brut shaving cream on face with mach 3 blade. Two passes, with and against the grain.
Head Slick on the head with a Headblade razor. One pass against the grain.

I've found that my Schick Quattro really keeps my skin a lot clearer than my Norelco electric razor, so I always use that with some Barbasol every day.

I highly recommend that shave cream. I can use a blade for a month or more now - used to get only 2-3 shaves out of each. That is shaving my head and face, btw.
Gotta try that; although I've been shaving my head for 10 years now and using Edge in the orange can for more than 25 years, and it is still the best I've found.
In the shower, usually exfoliate before or after, depending on what I've done the previous couple days; then use a Gillette Fusion.
No balm because I have oily skin, so I use a toner with 10% glycolic acid...then Acqua di Parma after shave lotion. 'Cause it makes me smell pretty.

OR use a mach 3 with a cheap $ store rippoff of Nivia gel. The trick I have found is to soak your beard with the hottest water possible for as long as you can. Makes a big difference

Shaving is for girly men.
About once or twice a week I'll scrap the my neck with a cheapo bic after a shower. Who needs soap?

I use a blade when I do shave but go for days without because I absolutely hate shaving.
