Only the Mets.
Seems to me it goes back more than 4 years. Remember the '80s, when the team didn't know whether to play the line or snort it, or the story about David Cone flogging his dolphin in the bullpen?

Woo Hooo...another shutout, Mets win 1-0. RA Dickey has been a blessing for us in an otherwise shitty year.

58-57, 9 games out of first, but with a shot, actually... enough of a shot to make the last few weeks of the season be just....miserable.
look at all the fun the Orioles are having...Shitcanned the manager, hired ol whassis face, and poof...having fun, winning games, but not a shot in hell of the playoffs...just, winning games, being entertaining.
Oh, 8 sticks in the KCC bucket, for those that are playing.

Lovely series against the Phillies. 10 sticks now in the Kelmac Comfort Crusade box. 10. maybe that's a bit much... I dunno. I just hope it helps when the time comes.

Best part is they're in the NL East....

Sorry brother....with all their issues its not even fun rooting against them...more like pity the faithful!!

Definitely a huge Mets fan! I agree the past couple of seasons have been rough, but we still have hope for the post season. It would be great to see other prospects to join Santana, so maybe late minor pickups would be good! GO METS!!!

Do you think the Mets will void the rest of his contract?

Certainly think they should, but I doubt it....union will have a BIG say in that....

I agree...while it SHOULD be done, don't see the Players Union allowing it.
:-)
:-) He should pay the Mets back.

what's he getting...$11-12 mil a year?
[Reply]
jonumberone 04:33 PM 08-17-2010
They can cancel the rest of the money owed to him this year. A move that the union will surely grieve. Next year they are on the hook for 12 or so mil. If he finishes 55 games next year win or lose an 18mil option for 4th year becomes automatic.
