Coffee Discussion>COFFEE: What are you drinking?
BSB 09:38 AM 01-07-2012
A special lighter roast of the Bolivian, city-city+, clean, sweet, floral, good cup. But, not what I would choose to drink everyday. I like it darker and chocolatey.

Tried a blend this morning of:
75% Rwanda Kibuye Gitesi at Full City +
& 25% El Salvador La Montanita Pacamara at City +.

It is decent, but seems to be lacking someting. Its a nice sweet Mid-Range blend.

The last of a batch of Ethiopia Amaro Gayo Organic Natural, roasted to city-city+. Smooth sweet, nice. Some brandied cherry as the cup cools. This was a much stronger in yesterday's cup.

Very nice blend this morning.
50% Guatemala Acatenango -Finca La Soledad at Vienna+
and 50% El Salvador La Montanita Pacamara at City+
Very nice flavors. Fullness in the background from the dark roast (coco, baking spices) and a fruity, citrus form the Lighter El Salvador.

You have never roasted a French Roast? That is beyond Vienna. This was just short of French.

I dont that often either, but thats how the brother-in-law likes it. This bean actually took the dark roast very well.

Just pressed some Rwanda Kibuye Gitesi at Full city +. Very tasty. Not quite as candy-like as the FT Dunkunde Kawa Musasa, but very good.
