One for your guys, Garry....superbly pitched game by the A's....only 5 balls out of the infield all game, 3 singles and two robberies of Prince. Sanchez pitched great, A's just pitched better.

Anderson.. Imagine if he was there all season! I didn't get to watch the game, I had my own to play. Watched the high lights.. Did Prince get screwed or what?

Screwed? Nah....Crisp made a great catch on a home run ball, but he had a bead on it the entire way. Cepedes made a nice diving grab of what could have been a pop single.

I was really impressed by Anderson's ability to get the ground ball outs. Glad he is done pitching for the season now. :-) :-)

I thought Leyland played with fire again. He sent Coke out to face righties for the second game in a row. Righties are hitting what .430 against him this year? He's figgen killing me with that stuff. :-)

Yup, Leyland's pitching choices have been questionable....specially continuing to use Benoit in the 8th, when it seems like he gives up a home run 2 out of every 3 appearances the last month.
