Yep.... I don't care how easy their schedule is. :-) The goal is just to get to the playoffs. Anything can happen from there. For example, the Steelers the year Carson took the cheap shot in the playoff game.

Must say, them Bungles are playing some damn fine defense right now, and from the looks of their ridiculously easy schedule, they're really only going to be contested a couple of times this year. They could very well surprise some people and sneak into the playoffs as a wildcard.

It wasn't a cheap shot, but yes, in the playoffs you never know. They are still going to be hard pressed to get the Wild Card at 8-8, or even 9-7, as that probably puts them 3rd in their own division. :-)

Just showing how big of a moron Mike Brown is, as the trade deadline approaches it appears that more teams than ever are interested in Carson and Carson has reached out in person to talk to him but Mike insists he is just an idiot and will let Carson sit there. Totally an ass to not even have the decency to speak with a man who wants to discuss an issue with him and could benefit the Bengals in the long run. What a moron. :-)

Carson wins. Mike Brown loses. :-)

I think it is awesome that we will get 2 1st round picks for him.

I wonder what the conditions will be for the 2nd 1st round pick.

Probably something like completions or yards. :-)

Mike Brown is still a moron. I hope Carson comes back next year and throws for 500 yards and wins by 30, just to show Mike how it works when you actually give him a team to play with. :-)

If anything, I think the Raiders lose and Bengals win. Two first round picks for a soon-to-be 32 year old quarterback who's best days are far behind him? One of the worst trades in the NFL in quite some time...

Let it go...let it go.:-)

Actually, I think the games will be good this year between the 2 teams.

It isn't a bad trade yet. Mike Brown has a tendency to make some terrible draft picks. The Raiders made an effort to win now, the Bengals are still in their 'rebuilding' mode they have been in for the last 20 years. I think most will be surprised that Carson has some better days ahead. Mike Brown never made the commitment to surround Carson with a team while he was in Cincinnati, ironically enough he has made decent moves around Dalton to help him succeed. Had the same been done for Palmer, he may have still been in Cincinnati. Mike Brown gets two picks, but he can screw them up just like he does with a lot of his other picks/players. :-)

If, by good games, you mean Dalton not getting his head knocked off. :-)

I respectfully disagree. He had Houshmandzadeh and Ocho who were arguably the best duo of WR's in the league at the time. He also had a nice running attack with Rudy Johnson. Other than that, Brown didn't do much.

Condition...Raiders win a playoff game either this year or next with Carson. Good deal!

If Mike Brown screws up a first round pick and at worst a second round pick, it's irrelevant to the fact that he got that for a retired player with a dead arm.

Wrong, Houshmanzadeh was an excellent receiver, Johnson, not so much. Look at what Johnson has done in New England when he has to actually run routes and be a productive member of the team. He notoriously doesn't work hard, doesn't run the right routes and is lazy on plays he doesn't get the ball. Carson also had a very good offensive line in front of him. Look at the stats decline when he lost Richie and Steinbach and Willie.

Carson also wanted a voice in the situation, and was never given one. He was forced to throw to primadona receivers to get them their stats and play in a predictable system. For most of the time Carson played for the Bengals, the team was run by Brown and the locker room run by the players. Sadly, it appears Lewis may finally have more control and the lack of egos in the locker room is benefiting the Red Rocket, instead of Carson. :-)

It is if he dumps millions into out-of-shape lineman (see: Andre Smith) or a moron (see: O'dell Thurman) or an overused college running back (see: Chris Perry). Then it would be very relevant. Carson's tank/arm isn't done, we'll see how much he really has left in a few weeks. :-)

Yeah, I hardly buy into the dead-arm conclusion. Not remotely.
