Mets drop another one, 3-2, to the Nats, As quick as it came, the offense has disappeared.

We get four games over .500...and we do everything in our power to give them away. Looks like we're gonna hold onto third place (by a hair) for one more day. Oh yeah...Pelfrey still sucks!!!

Only my Mets could hit HRs two nights in a row to tie the game in the 9th...only to piss the game away. :-) :-)

On a brighter note...Beltran is 2-17 with 2 RBIs for the Giants. He was on a tear before he left. :-)

Reyes and Murphy both end up on the DL. Looks like we lost Murphy for the season. He was having a great year wit the bat. Oh well...at least we didn't "tank" in May. :-) And we call up Mike Baxter...an outfielder hitting .265 with one HR...WTF??? :-) :-)
