What a game! Jerry World is freakin' amazing. Team looked incredibly in-sync throughout the entire game. I was in a rowdy section and a couple of Eagles fans took a bit of a verbal beating for 3 hours.. :-)

I don't like facing them in the first round.. I remember the last time we swept a team 0-2 in the regular season and had to play them in the playoffs.. the Giants 2 years ago.

But this is a different team, with lots of confidence. This about sums it up: :-)

So that was you giving me a hard time then?! :-) 99% of the fans, it was all in good fun, it's that 1% though....

Yeah, it was all in fun though. Most of us shook their hands after the game, then invited 'em back next week to watch us pluck their Eagles again. :-)

Hey guys, not to rain on the parade (sarcasm) BUT, could this be the breakout year for the Cowboys or could this be a repeat of two years ago?

Remember?
Beat the team twice in one year, win the NFC East title, lose in the first round of playoffs to that team you beat twice in the regular season?

Things that make you go hmmmm..............:-):-):-)

Regardless of 2 years ago, which team would you rather be? The one who has lost both regular season games and going into their stadium to play the 3rd or the team who swept the regular season series and is hosting the 3rd game at home? Cowboys looked great on Sunday, if they play smart and focused again there is no way they lose. This team is playing as good as any team in the NFL right now. No doubt. :-)

I reluctantly agree they are playing the best ball in the NFC right now. Momentum usually carries you.
However, there is the flip side that teams can better prepare from their defeats than they can from their wins. The Eagles will go back and see what it is they did and didn't do and attempt to make corrections.
The Cowboys will likely go out and do what they did as it worked.
One of the two will prevail.
My point is don't rest assured beating the Eagles last weekend so convincingly will guarantee a win this coming weekend. If you bet on that, just remember two years ago. There were key mistakes in that game last week by the Eagles that if not repeated, the outcome could have been very different.
Either way, regardless who wins, it is the game from hell for me.

Regular season don't mean squat. That being said, I would want to be the home team - regardless of regular season records. Home field in the playoffs is huge.

I think they just plain gave up.
Seems they already fired the Defensive Coordinator. Like yeah!!! What defense?

As bad as that game was on Sunday, I'm hoping for a significantly different outcome on Saturday. I'm hoping Reid's first playoff game record and Phillips' overall playoff record both hold true. :-)

It scares the hell out of me. It's about this time that teams get cocky. "We beat 'em twice this season, so the third should be a breeze right?" According to history, apparently not.

Both the Jets and Cowboys face that issue this weekend.

I think the answer lies with the team that won during the regular season, or in both of these cases, last week, probably does little to change their game plan, since after all, it worked.
The team that loses, and in both these cases is slaughtered, has to go back to the beginning and start from scratch trying to figure out a better game plan then they had the last time and since theoretically, the winning team will likely use the same game plan, they know better what exactly to prepare for.

There may be a whole lot of other reasons but that is my theory and I am sticking to i.:-)
