My Brother in Law back in the early 70's bought a console stereo from the local department store. As part of the sale, he had to select 500 8 track tapes from a list. That's a good size pile of tapes.

Those were the first ones that I had...
Remember the rockets you could get that used these as well? You threw them and when they landed it set of the strip.
