I'm glad you enjoyed this :-)

My dog loved licking up the stream of it that followed me to the sink. She's got good taste.

Brand new beer at Trader Joe's. The Mission St. Anniversary 2011...should hit shelves in the next week.

Very good Imperial Brown Ale. 8.5% alc. 2.99$ for 650 ml

2010 GI Bourbon County Stout. Still too much bite, needs time to settle.

Yum. I noticed with some of the 2010 I had late last year the hotness as went away. Might have to crack one open soon.

Drinking an Ale Asylum Bedlam. Was holding on to a few to see how they age for sh!ts and giggles. It's a Belgian IPA and sweetness/fruitiness hasn't dissipated for almost a year old. I'm really digging this one!

Stone brewing is coming to Minnesota, evidently. I view this as a good thing.
Jbailey 08:04 PM 03-28-2011
Stone pulled out of WI because they just weren't selling.

Had these last night:

Ephraim, DIPA - Hill Farmstead Brewery (growler)
#17 on BA's American Beers best of list - (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/22511/62172)
Brewdog - Tactical Nuclear Penguin
Brewdog - Abstrakt AB:03
Brewdog - something else, forgot the name
Malheur Brut Noir
The Bruery - Provision Series, Gunge Gulunga - 100% Brett

You might as well be speaking Chinese to me with this list. :-)
I'm sure they were all great!

I stopped by Schlafly's taproom on the way home for a pint of Cask Coffee Stout.
It was underwhelming. However, my second try was their Dry Hopped Märzen. Wow! A totally great, new twist on an already great Oktoberfest!
Salvelinus 06:43 PM 03-29-2011
How did you like the Ephraim landhoney? I had friends that spent a ridiculous amount of money to get growlers of that stuff. Haven't had any myself.

Did not enjoy --> Mcneills old ringworm last evening

Making up for it with a Southern Tier unearthly imperial IPA and a smoke on the porch right now. 50 degrees today... 5" of snow planned for tomorrow.
Steve 03:54 PM 03-30-2011
Ya'll aren't done with the snow yet???

Nice choice in IPA though!
Salvelinus 04:10 PM 03-30-2011
Is it June yet? Then no, we aren't done with snow.
