That's what kills me about baseball today. It just doesn't seem right to have a pitcher who can't be left in for more than one inning. Taking a pitcher out after an inning for strategy, or even one batter, yeah I get that. But because the guy can't hack it for more than three or four batters? Meh.

But that's just me, a grumpy old fart at the end of a long tough day. :-)

Mets drop another one to a team they should be beating, 6-1 to the Cubs. Santana looked like stir fried dog crap and Rauch comes on in 1/3 of an inning and gives up 4 runs (granted they were all unearned)...will someone please send his ass to double A or release him, HE'S KILLING US!! :-) :-) Seems he can't get anyone out.

What, and get a better bullpen? That would be rediculous.....

You had to think the Mets were gonna sleepwalk through yesterdays game.
They just played 3 games against the Yanks in front of sellout crowds.
And now they have to play the team with the worst record in MLB.
Sunday's game was late, so they probably got in to Chicago in the early morning.
Classic let down game, IMO!

Hopefully the Mets wake up for tonights game. The Mets can't afford to lose to last place teams.

Mets banter sux as long as they are not in last or near bottom....just sayin'....:-)

There were two men, one was a Mets fan and the other was a Phillies fan. These men were both madly in love with the same woman. Mets lose to the Cubs 5-3 and that makes four in a row. Will someone wake these ****ers up???

Mets get a little payback with a 17-1 ass-whooping of the Cubs this afternoon.

And If they'd spread those runs around a bit over the past week, they'd have something going for them. :-)

We both know that isn't going to happen. We'll probably put up a goose egg against the Dodgers tomorrow. :-) :-)

Mets beat a depleted Dodgers squad last night 3-2...back into second place.

For my brother Keith...the Phillies lose, yet again, and are now back in sole possession of the NL East Cellar!! :-)
