I had my first Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especial the other night.

I guess a month and a half of rest wasn't enough as the burn was super uneven with major tunnelling and all. I assume the stick was still too wet yes???

Six weeks should be plenty of time to adjust to your storage conditions.
What RH is your storage at?

I had it in a Ziploc with a 69% Boveda pack for over a month, but then I built my first Tupperdor almost 3 weeks ago and put it in there with two 65% Bovedas (one for each Spanish cedar tray I have in there.)
