What self defense ammo do you have? Also I need to find a good range ammo, any thoughts? I ordered some double tap ammo last week and will order some underwood today.

For self defense, I ordered some Double Tap Speer Gold Dots. I ordered these about 5 years ago, so I don't know if they are still available or not.

For range ammo, I use the Georgia Arms Canned Heat. http://georgia-arms.com/newcannedhea...cket500pk.aspx

Thanks. There's not many choices with 10mm sadly.

Dan, any issues with Georgia Arms. I've known about them for some time but have always been hesitant to order. I liked their prices for 357Sig, kinda late to ask this question now with no one having anything in stock, but I thought I'd ask.

I fired about half of a can of 10mm with no problems :-)

Checkout freedom munitions too. Nothing in stock right now though.

You are correct. Don't reload as much as I used to but 10mm is definitely one of my most frequently used die sets. 200gr. full metal jackets with a healthy charge of Blue Dot, for carry in bear and wild boar country down south/out west. 180 grain flat points in front of Winchester 231 powder for practice. Carry ammo for "two legged vermin" defense is factory CorBon jhp, or Winchester Silvertips.

Picked up a used, low miles Sig P238 (.380) recently. This one has the ambidextrous thumb safety, something they didn't offer on the earliest ones. So far so good testing it out. If it is reliable it will become a weak (left) side backup gun, carried in a front pocket rig.

Not a huge fan of the .380 acp (see my last post just above for some proof of that :-) ) but it definitely has its place.

I love my wife's.
She has the HD which has a heavier frame, hence less recoil.
Gun is a pleasure to shoot.

Well, i've decided that this Kahr CW45 just isn't going to work for me. It's a little too long in the grip for me to CCW it during the hot days here in FL. Guess I'm gonna sell her and the holster.

I think I did we'll.
Scored a DTI lower in stock at Bud's that lasted literally seconds for $159.

Yup.
Just checked out the closer shots and sure enough.

So.........what the heck does that mean?
Man, I am still so ignorant to all this.

Not sure it means anything legally. I know any AR lower can be registered as a pistol lower when it's transferred. If it's been built as a rifle, then it can't legally be built as a pistol. A pistol lower can be built into a rifle though. Why bother with the pistol one unless you're building a pistol though.
