I didn't really acquire any boxes except for ones that I really really wanted or when I was going through duty free but recently I started smoking cigars more frequently again and the hoarding has started all over again. Probably it for a few months. Now time to convert that unused Pelican 1650 into a storage bin

Nice haul! Is that a Microtech Ultratech I see at the bottom there?

Yeah... this was a garage sale/craigslist buy. Everything above the red humidor is what I bought today.

Those are (from top to bottom) a box of matches (Can never have too many matches!), a nearly full box of Thompson cigars at the top (Scared of smoking those... heard nothing but baaaad things), a container of propylene glycol, a Havana travel humidor, , A Colibri Table Lighter (pretty awesome actually), A Traveldor in iffy condition, a small desk humidor that is now an accessory box (awesome), A box that used to have some shop brand of cigars in it, but it has a REALLY good seal, so I'll use it for my overflow or emergency holder/traveler, and finally a 50 count desktop humidor with a terrible seal I need to fix.

All for under $30! lol I guess that's a good and bad thing.

And here's a picture of the two types of Thompson Cigars that came with this whole deal:

Anyone have any experience with these? here are about 45 of the Red labeled ones and about 16 of the black labels.

Also, yesterday I bought two oliva serie g maduros at my local smoke shop, and their Oliva rep was in the store. So, long story short, I got a Cain F sample for freeeeeeeeee! Very short stick, but a large ring gauge, for sure.

Pic of the G Perfecto and Cain F below:

Nice score on the Cain F Nub and the garage sale stuff :-)

If the Thompsons house blend stuff sucks to your palate, which I imagine it will, the troops will gladly take them off your hands. :-)

Aha! That's a good idea. A Very good one in fact! we'll just have to see how badly they suck after I've rehumidified them. If they're still dogs, then they're kindling. No one should be subject to something as terrible as these could be.

Oh, did I forget to mention everything here hasn't been humidified in over a year? Whoopsie. :-)

Thanks! Mostly I'm excited about using the boxes and the lighter. The lighter was a good find.

Take the time with the rehumidification, give them atleast a month. :-)

If you deem that they indeed suck, I would still let the troops decide. If they concur, they can use them to light their fires in the desert. :-)

Soon enough. I had promised Marvin on the big island that I'd get out there this year as well. I just found somebody that I trust to come in and take care of the cats, so... :-)
