It was exactly what I needed this morning. I had a slight issue with this cigar when I was moving around some smokes in the Humi's the other day. I picked up my sharks from 07 and found some MOLD
:-) at the foot. Took off that silly red ribbon to find some more there. I dont know what it is about the Anejos but they always seem to be more susceptible to mold. Granted I have only found it on two or three but it still drives me nuts. I always take the cedar off now and will probably do the same with the ribbons. Fortunately the couple of Anejos seem to be the only smokes with that problem. Anyway back to the smoke, I trimmed the foot about an eight of an inch and let it up. Even with the trim the cigar burned incredibly. This was only my second shark and I would say that this is a great cigar. I dont know if it was the coffee or the cigar but I found a ton of coca and nuts in this cigar. I smoked it until my teeth burned.

RP "Cuban Blend", a dark brown wrapper on this that I wiped the dye off first. I don't know why he has to dye this, it's a great tasting cigar.

I'm sure they have something I haven't tried in the Perdomo line.
I found the ESV '91 Imperio maduros to be very good, last time.
Can't say that the Lot 23s do anything for me. I'd like to try the
Patriarch, or something new, preferably maduro or corojo.
Will report back this evening.
Had a swell time at the event. Talked and smoked with a good
bunch of BOTLs. Smoked an ESV '91 maduro and it was as good
as I remembered. The bad news is that Perdomo is out of '91
vintage tobacco, and they will gradually disappear. I need to save
up and get a box b4 then!
Just bought a handful this time, some Habano, Patriarch and 10th
Anniversary... all maduro. All now resting comfortably.
That walk-in humi is too full, also. One guy bumped into a couple
5 ft. tall stacks of boxed cigars and they fell all over the place!
LOL Good for a laugh.

Illusione ~1~ This monster on an "A" was actually pretty damn good. It's been resting in a dress box with some montes A's and some other odds and ends for almost a year now. Nice burn, nice flavor, and not half bad for a cigar with an exploded foot.
:-)
It burned long enough for me to cut the grass, weed eat, and then observe what I had done. A good two hours I'd say.

Casa Magna Corona. Lots of pepper, leather and other subtle things. The wrapper is seriously oily. Overall a swell smoke, but unless the robusto is miles ahead of the corona, I don't see how it gets best of 2008.

Illusione Epernay, I was kind of dissapointed in this one. Still a good Illusione but not great. I hope the eccj that I have been saving, is better!
