As for Santana, Johan yielded more big hits than Carlos ever did. :-)

Gee, you think they can win in The Bronx today? :-)

Mets drop another one to the Evil Empire, 4-2.

Shotty defense and the bullpen contribute to losing a 3-0 lead...and getting swept. :-) :-) :-)

Everyone but the Nats lost in the NL East...so no harm done.

Last I checked the Nats were in first.
How is falling a game further behind no harm done? :-)
Unless of course the Mets are only playing for Third place.

Mac want to wager a troop 5er and a 5 pack of Maduros on the Mets Rays series?

Not with the way my Mets are playing. :-)

Third place (this year) would be a welcome surprise.

Yeah, I'd agree that contending for a wild-card exceeds the preseason expectations I had for them, plus there's all the injuries to boot . . . not to mention all those "batters" (to use the term loosely) struggling to keep their heads within snorkling distance of the Mendoza line. Still, I'm hoping they can turn in around against the Rays.

Tell you what, Mac. My boys will do their best to beat up on the Braves for you, if yours try to take two or three from Tampa. :-)

Mets did their part...beating the Rays 11-2, as the offense finally woke up. And sole possesion of third place in the NL East.

They also gave the Yanks sole possession of First! :-)

Yeah yeah yeah. Blah blah blah. :-)

Hmmmmmm. Aha! :-)

Oh yeah!!! :-)

:-) Heh heh heh.

Two nights in a row!!!! If I had work tomorrow I'd leave early!! You should have taken the bet Mac!!!
kelmac07 06:06 AM 06-14-2012
Dickey goes to 10-1 in throwing a one hitter. Mets win 9-1. 20 runs in two games??? WOW!!! If I had taken the bet, we would have lost both games by 20. :-) :-)

And tied for second place...but the Nats keep winning. :-) :-)
Coach Deg 09:14 AM 06-14-2012
As far as I'm concerned, I seen the Mets 2nd no hitter. That was an error on Wright in first inning.

I agree..but now were even. The ball Beltran hit was clearly fair and called foul. :-)

Nice outing by Dickey! He's been our savior so far this season. The entire team seems to play well when he's on the mound.

Mets Sweep the Rays!! 29 runs in three games. Not too shabby.

Yeah, and not too shabby how you helped out my Yanks, both in this series and your previous one, up in The Bronx. Thanks. :-)

And you're welcome for our help with the Braves. We'll see if we can give you some more with the Nats starting tomorrow.
