King Henry is pitch black.. Pours like a stout, but it's a barrel aged barleywine. Aged in Pappy 23 barrels, same as Bourbon County Rare! Damn this beer is complex!

The barrel character in King Henry is the insane! Such great flavors.. I wish I had the chance to get a bottle of Rare, because the 23 Pappy barrels have done wonders to this barleywine. Simply great:-)

Wow, plenty of tobacco notes in King Henry.. Chocolate as well. Leather, nuts, leather, booze and cream dance in and out as well... Finishes just smooth as hell..
