Nice! I really enjoyed the one I got last year. I’ll
Have to keep an eye out for them now.

I never got a chance to try the 1924, but I did love me some Early Times so I bet it's delicious

I haven't tried it yet, might see if Garfield's has an open one on their bar first.

Dave and Al, what do you remember about it?

I popped a bottle open tonight and took a dram pour just for you Tom! LOL

It is a good finished bourbon. The smell is very interesting as I got maple and molasses off the nose. The taste was pleasant. no burn while a long finish that had a lot of syrupy vanilla with some spice. For $70 MSRP, I would buy another. I did see it going for as much as $350 on secondary tonight. :-)

Ditto. Better palate and writing then myself.

It’s smooth with caramel up front and a nice bit of oak on the finish. Hopefully OF figures out how to make this a regular release. It’s quite a bit better than the 2024 OF Birthday release.

For price, well, I have never paid less then $150 but I suck at finding deals.

I have one bottle unopened buried in the back. Not saving it however just too many I have yet to experience so back of the line haha.

I always look longingly at some that have not yet made it back to the front. :-)

:-)

I've like the Blue Run Trifecta so much I took a flyer on Jay West's single barrel Blue Run pick. I've liked almost all of his picks I have had, so I am hoping this is another winner.

Interested to hear your thoughts. One of the groups here did a Blue Run pick recently, 10yr 120 proof for $170. I passed even when it went on sale for $145, I'm sure it's good but I don't know enough about all the releases they have coming out

Stopped by the local store. They had the last of their allocated bottles out for general consumption. Snagged an ER10 for a friend, and the Makers Mark Heart Release for me.

I'll let you know when I open this one, figured I'd put a bigger dent in the Trifecta blend before I crack the single barrel. Ben.

Nice, Bob. I tried a Michigan distilled bourbon yesterday at QT's bar, interesting and different. I'd drink it again.

Sorry to be that guy, but you still haven't tried Michigan distilled bourbon. That being said I do love this wheat whiskey, I drank through a bottle of it :-)

Corsets Whips and Whisky is made from 100% wheat instead of 51% corn, which is why it tastes so interesting and different. Not sure if they use new or used barrels but I really like what they're doing with it

I have a bottle of it. It’s definitely unique. I like it too.

I’m going to have to keep my eyes out for the Dragons Milk bottled in bond. The Bourbon Junkies really like that one.

So later on yesterday, went to Binny's for Friday drops. They had a single barrel pick, so I just had to. :-)
