So happy to be out of hibernation from the winter. Figured would start off right and enjoy this delicious treat! Herrera Esteli Short Corona!

Macanudo Cafe Duke of Devon Corona. Burned well, although the draw was a bit tight. Smooth, mild, and a nice tasting stick.

That's my favorite size of one of my favorite non-maduros.
I had a New Orleans Cigar Company Cameroon Rothschild last night. We've got some family visiting and we took them over to the French Quarter yesterday. The New Orleans Cigar Company was right by where we parked on Decatur street so I just had to pick a couple up to try. I grabbed a couple Connecticuts for the visiting family (they like milder smokes) and one each Cameroon and Maduro for myself. The Cameroon was pretty tasty; it reminded me a little of the Oliva G, but with a little more power.

Mmmmm Oliva G James....sounds good to me.
Last night started bad and ended up being an awesome smoking night.
1st up was the new Nomad...the shop received some to sample. I didn't realize they just arrived, so this may not have been fair to the stick, as it may have needed more rest, but this was awful....just boring and no flavors pitched it before the 2/3

Next up was a Leccia Black.....now I have several of these I picked up last summer at one of our events, I didn't care for these when I smoked one at the event, but after almost a years rest these have really opened up to be a great smoke.....sadly this was not the case last night. This was from a fairly new box we got in.....I finished it, but I didn't enjoy it.

So, after 2 mediocre smokes my next one had to be a good one, so I pulled out a Tatuaje Mexican Experiment.......damn these never disappoint.

And finally and this surprised me, but this next stick was the "stick of the day" as Mac would say was an Outlaw Cigar Gunslinger Hangman (which I believe is a Toro) given to me graciously by Jeff (Mr Clean).....from the 1st light I was saying out loud "DAYUM this is a good stick!" People at the shop just looked at me.....Needless to say I nubbed this, and I will be getting some more, these will be regulars in my humi.....pssst I hear CI has these cheap....just saying.......so thank you once again Jeff....this was an unwelcomed surprise.

Only a G. de Graaff La Rica (Dutch shortfiller) which was offered as a small victory cigar by a friend.

Mickey...thanks for sharing. Got me curious about that Gunslinger Hangman. Although they only sell them in boxes of 24. Like to grab a 5er, not a whole box.

:-) I'm intrigued, but not enough to buy a whole box of 24 coronas.

The Herrera Esteli's are in my top 5 for sure. I just wish they costed about half of what they do. Then again if they did, they would prolly taste half as good. :/
Went to tried and true Famous Nic 5000 today. Half at lunch and other half on the drive home. Amazing how my road rage goes out the window with a good stogie in my hand. Who would have thought.
Just finished up a Factory Throwout #49 Sweet as well. First time with this one. Not bad though I had to fix the draw on it with a high class draw tool (paper clip, LOL). Burned evenly and was not bad on the taste either. Will try out the second one I bought in next few days. See if worth getting a bundle.
