Thinning out my collection, so gifted my friends son a few bottles last night. He was thankful.

Love both. The EH Taylor at that price is insane.

Apparently the guy running the raffle had three bottles of EHT and three bottles of Stagg as the top prizes and some other whiskies as "consolation" prizes. Around 50 people bought tickets. For $20 I'd take those odds.

I might have bought a fist full, James.

Definitely!!!! Considering the cheapest I have seen Stagg is $250.
I have yet to get a bottle but did have a shot as my very first high proof bourbon introduction. I need to go back to Tampa and Corona cigars to try it again.

$250 is high for regular Stagg considering it's MSRP is $70. I splurged earlier this year for 3 bottles of store picks at $150 each. I have missed out on the recent Batch 24A and 24B due to conflicting schedules. I honestly can't tell you how many bottles of Stagg I have right now, so no big loss.

Tony is right, though I rarely get lucky and find Stagg at retail Dave. Secondary prices have settled closer to $150-175 for the batches since '22.

Still $200+ near me, if you even see it on the shelf.
Stopped by my local store to grab the Bourbon County Vanilla Rye, and snagged an Old Forester SiBBP Rye. 130.2 proof. Now to work on the open bottle I have.

Yeah, too much for current Stagg. I'd think about $200 for a few of the older batches (12 comes to mind first).
I opened the 2021 Barrell New Year that I picked up on clearance awhile back. It's the best version I've had.

I was shocked to see some Booker's on my local AFB. It's the first time in quite a while. At $90, I couldn't pass it up.

That one is tasty. IMHO similar to the 01 yet just a bit sweeter. Nice pick up.

Looks like the Bookers run continues.

Did find a store with a 24-01 behind the counter. $169, I’ll pass.

That is actually around MSRP. It was a bit higher for that same bottle here in Texas.

Regular Bookers is $100 here in MI. The LB Chapter 8 is $169, LB Infinity is $199. Most places will add $10-20 to the regular Bookers, but $60 is crazy. Someone will pay it though.

That Little Book Infinite Blend is a banger, Bob! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

I had a pour yesterday. It started off good, but got better as it opened up. Can’t wait to revisit this bottle over time. Cool concept, can’t wait to see where this line goes.

One of the Bourbon YT'ers I watch (SLB, I think) has it on good authority that MSRP for Booker's is going up to $129. If that's the case, I'll be pretty much done with it. Once the stores add on to that price it'll be the equivalent of getting three bottles of WT Rare Breed. I like Booker's, but not three times as much as Rare Breed.

If that’s the case, I’ll be done as well.
