High West Double Rye. I must say,

This stuff is good, my wife got a chance to visit the distillery up by Deer Vally. She only brought one bottle back, as we're not really rye drinkers, well this stuff changed that!

Just beat out Ardberg, Macallan, JW Platinum and a 17yo Balvenie. Pretty damned good.

A little Ron Zacapa 23 and Ron Barcelo. Both excellent (IMHO).

Been expanding my horizons in the single malts lately. Until recently, I have been drinking pretty much 100% Speyside/Highlands. Went 180* today at a local store that was having a deeeeeeeep sale on everything in the store. Picked up Laphroig Quarter Cask for $38.
Very different. Very smokey, but I seem to like that so far. Not quite as 'band-aidy' as the Bruichladdich Peat Project I had at Christmas (and have not found since).

Buffalo Trace while I watched Twilight with the wife, it still didn't help the suckfest......but the liquor was good.
