You were there Kevin?!?!? Awesome that you got to witness history like that! Congrats to Santana and the Mets....and to you for being there to see it!

Thats awesome that you were there. I saw on the bottom line on the heat game that santana was taking the no no into the 9th. Had to switch to it. Im glad he did it. He is going in the right direction this season and hopefully his success will continue

Tip of the cap from StLu. That was hard for me to watch.

For the last few years, my boss and I had a running joke that whenever I went to a game the Mets lost. The year the Mets had the late season collapse, I went to 3 of the final 8 games - all losses. I can't believe I was there last night for something so historic.

Congratulations on the no-hitter for Santana, the Mets, and their loyal fans.

Let's hope you guys can live another 50 years, to see their 2nd one. :-)

LOL Tom..

I was thinking to myself today is the next Met pitcher to throw a No Hitter
A) on the Roster yet
B) in the farm system
C) not even born yet

Dicket pitches a complete game shutout to pick up his 8th win as the Mets beats the Cardinals 5-0...two consecutive shutouts. :-) :-)

And we fall a 1/2 game outta first. Rauch is killing is this year. Everytime he comes in, he gives up runs. :-)

The bullpen strikes yet again. Despite allowing three runs, Gee pitched a nice 7 innings. Given the last couple complete game wins, I had hoped Collins would have left him stay in for at least the 8th inning.

Mets draft Cecchini, Gavin Barbe HS, LA SS R/R HS 6'02" 180lbs.

Bloodlines are always a good thing, so the fact that Cecchini's brother, Garin, was a 2010 draftee and now in the Red Sox organization doesn't hurt. The younger Cecchini, however, is more than making a name for himself.Cecchini has a quick stroke with good extension, enabling him to make consistent hard contact. He's got mostly gap power now and his speed plus instincts allow him to be a basestealing threat and take the extra base. Those instincts also help him defensively. While his hands are good and he grades out as average with his arm and range, some think a move to second might be better. Either way, this scrappy middle infielder is sure to get plenty of looks in the spring.
