The Bell's Octoberfest, on the other hand, is an awesome beer--so far, my favorite fall seasonal. Beats the pants off Sam Adams Oktoberfest
Thanks! I'm sure the Octoberfest will be available around here. I'll definitely give that a shot, and if I found some Nemesis, maybe that, too.

Tonights pairing is interesting, yet tasty. A Wells Banana Bread beer with a LGC MdO #3. Quite the tasty pencils.

How is that Bells Batch 9000?
I have a 6pk in the cellar that I was going to try to leave alone for a year or two!

Getting much better, I had one fresh now this one. I will probably let the others sit for quite a while but it definitely has improved.

Wow, you still had that bottle?! How was it?
Reminds me--I think I still have it's sister somewhere--might have to pop that on Halloween or something.

I kept it in cold storage for a year and it was very tasty with plenty of yummy fall spices!!!
Thanks Bro!!!
BTW: My aging experiments are going very well. I had a SN Estate Harvest Ale from 2009 last night and it had changed in complexity! It lost a lot of the hoppiness and became very sweet and kind of fruity.
