I love when bigger bands kind of fall off because later you can get a chance to see them in much smaller venues. I just scored tickets to see Bush in a very small venue- not like when they were mega popular and played Madison Squre Garden. I can't wait! Should be an awesome show. :-)

I saw a GnR tribute band today called Paradise City here in Indy. They aren't as good as the tribute band called Appetite for Destruction.

Coming up Friday, I'll be seeing Skillet again. Can't wait.

BIL, wife, and dad went to Charlotte amphitheater 7/3 to see the Zac Brown Band. My dad's last concert was Waylon Jennings/Hank Williams, Jr. in 1978. We had a blast!

Also, got tickets yesterday to see The Foo Fighters in the Time Warner Arena in Charlotte on 11/8. Great lower level seats. Can't wait!!!!

You know it! They were #1 on my bucket list. Social D opens for them. A great double-bill!

I saw them on the last tour, and they are incredible live. Grohl is a madman.

Soundgarden was awesome....Chris said they are recording a new album and would do a lot of those songs on the next tour...this one was going to concentrate on 1997 - back.

His voice was great, Kim was jamming, and Matt and Ben rocked the beat.

Highlights included playing almost all of "Superunknown" and so many great songs including:

The Day I Tried to Live
Fell on Black Days
Spoonman
Pretty Noose
Black Hole Sun
Superunknown
My Wave
4th of July
Like Suicide
Jesus Christ Pose
Outshined
Rusty Cage
Blow Up the Outside World
Burden in my Hand
Loud Love

I saw the 2010 Lollapalooza concert on Palladia this weekend. They did well for a bunch of "old guys". Glad you enjoyed it.

Just got back from seeing Bush at a really small venue. The show was awesome, but if you're going to see them, be prepared to sweat... Gavin pulled a Madonna and asked that the air conditioning be turned off for his voice.

Everyone was relieved when the show was over to get outside to the 80* temperature.

Ted Nugent over a year ago. We have a good place for concerts down here, but they waste the venue for Tejano and bubble-gun pop and rap crap. I'm lobbying them to get Rush to play down here.

Just got home from the Sade concert. It was amazing. John Legend opened for her. I would have to say it was one of the best concerts I have been to.

Caught this in Portland this week. It was very good. Sade only tours every ten years.
