You get what you paid for. Don't go cheap for your parents
:-)
I got Colombia Los Galpones, Maui blend, and India Mysore nuggets, hot. Nicaragua Jinotega, cold pressed for iced. And we'll need it as we reach 95 today.

I'm grinding my way through a bag of succulent Ugandan beans that tech-ninja was kind enough to send me. These are dark, a little smokey, and delicious. I used them to make a batch of cold-brew concentrate and mixed up a pint of sweetened half & half to go along with it. I can't wait for the next cup!

Right now it's
Colombia Finca Buenavistsa, Carlos Imbachi at Full City +.
Very nice. The darker roast actually gave it a tiny bit of Spice, which I love. Nice Dark Toast notes and a slight citrus twang.

Great coffee shop here in Austin called Ruta Maya. Definately a "Keep Austin Wierd" kind of place. In fact a good friend of mine was part owner in the company until he passed last year. Miss you much Jon! RIP

Ruta Maya coffee is all organic and roasted right in good 'ol Austin. I think its wonderful. It can be found at many Costco stores also.
Oh, they also have a great little cigar shop in the Austin coffee shop, Habana House. Fantastic little spot and they keep their humidor in tip top condition.
