Shell still has the instant V power discount at the pump promo going so its "only" $ 1.94.

87 stuff has been holding at $1.75 for the last week or so. got as low as $1.45 about 3 weeks ago

The cheap stuff is $2.11/gallon here in central California. But Cheveron and Shell are considerably more, like $2.25/gallon.

I loved this photo after the South felt the crunch from hurricane Josephine. These were people waiting for gas at a station that has no gas not knowing if a gas truck was coming in that night. Price at the pump was $4+ for the 87 stuff then.

Nerve racking times indeed.

The cheapest I've pad was $1.45, right now between MI and WI it's $1.89 - $1.75.

Regular gas is going for $2.43/gal. (cheapo) and on average is around $2.50ish. I drive my own vehicle for a living (about 250-275 miles/day) so watching prices slowly start to increase is disconcerting.

Regular unleaded $1.67 per gallon at the some going up to $1.71 for the big oil stations.
