I haven’t smoked a lot of lanceros but I’ve enjoyed the few that I have. Trini Fundys and Tatuajes are delicious.
:-)

The best:
Tatuaje Especiales
DPG Padilla 1932
Illusione HL
Older Trini Fundadores
Coronado Lance was really dynamic, blew away my pallette, almost too much smoke... must try again.
El Triunfador didn't rock my world, but it was excellent.
Oliva V is great bang for the buck. Little lumpy, soft.
La Gloria Medailles d'oro #1 is a great lighter smoke for breakfast, but great flavor.
Really want to try DPG blues lance...

Pretty much any I getmy hands on. But specifically lately; Triunfador, Illusione Holy Lance, Oliva Series V, and it's been a while, but it has to stay on the list...Cohiba.

All right, time for the stupid noob question. I've never had a lancero -- plenty of lonsdales -- and I know that is a hole in my cigar education that I will fill.
I don't mean to threadjack, but I'd love to hear why lanceros (particularly CCs) seem to be so highly regarded. What makes them so good?
