I would wait until he's sober before you break his nose so at least he'll remember it. :-)

I should clarify. It wasn't that he was a treehugger or anything. He was just kidding around, and didn't realize what he was doing. Hell, he was outside smoking. I'm not a super violent person, and if I had hit him, I'd be at the house trying to find my teeth. He would've kicked my ass easily haha.

Congrats on getting hitched.

Sometimes, you just have to smile and laugh it off... Years from now, you probably wont remember the cigar.

How far into the cigar were you?
[Reply]
BHalbrooks 08:55 PM 02-28-2012
It was just about at the 1/3 left mark. So it could've been a lot worse.

Would you like to give the Opus another shot since that one was ruined prematurely? Pm me your addy and I'll send you one.

Congratulations on your betrothal. And there'll be other cigars, even other Opus'...but my God, I would have done something stupid in your place. Very stupid.

Just chalk that up to the one hiccup in your marriage. No cigar is worth hitting someone over, but he'd have known that he ****ed up.

Thank you. :-)

At least it was a cigar, at my wedding my (now ex) wife's brother, one of my groomsmen (and 25 years old) decided it would be a good time to settle a 10 year old (mistaken) grudge against a 60 year old man and beat him so badly he was hospitalized for a week. I had my Brother In Law and my Mother In Law's boyfriend (who also participated) arrested and charged with felonies.

I should have taken that as a sign of where the marriage was heading.
