No, I was never actually cool enough to own PF Flyers. The first pair of "cool" sneakers I ever owned was a pair of blue Puma 'Clydes' that I bought with my own money. When you sweat in them the die ran onto your socks and feet, and turned them blue.

Why, I remember when they invented dirt. "Who needs dirt?", we all asked. We've done without dirt all this time and see no need to jump on the bandwagon for some new fangled contraption. No one will use it and it will be gone before the end of the year. You wait and see.

Rocks? Rocks!?! You had rocks!

We had to scoop hot magma out of the core of the earth with our bare hands and then squeeze it between our butt cheeks to make our rocks. Don't tell me about rocks, kid, I know rocks!

Local magma? Paradise! We used to have to get out of bed at 4:00am, trudge through dino-scat to the other side of the world and scoop plasma from the sun itself! Then we came home and had to fuse those dadburn atoms in the kitchen while Dad beat us about the head and neck.
