At dinner go with a dozen roses and slip a fake one in there, make sure it kind of sticks out. When she gets them put a card with them or tell her you'll stop loving her when the the last rose dies. :-) Guaranteed for someone to get lucky after that brother!! :-) With whatever you go with Good Luck!

No better way to ruin things than to have a SPAMMER add their crap to your thread...

I've only been married for 3 years but we were together for 8 before that. I'd like to offer a little advice that will help you in the long run. Do not set the bar too high when it comes to gifts. For 2 reasons. 1) it will make life so much more difficult for you on the next special occasion that requires gifts. Ff you blow your gift load all at once good luck finding new ideas next time. 2) it takes away from subsequent gifts in the future. It's human nature to compare things and you will forever be playing catch up.

On that note, your plan sounds great as is. If you must add to it though, flowers are man's multi tool!

I'm pretty sure that if Ken hasn't acted on this two year old thread by now, he probably doesn't need to bother. :-)
