The PL Pan's have been even better than the PLPC's I have smoked. Every one of the PLPC's has shown some signs of sickness.
Hoyo Coronation tubos have also been fantastic.
:-)

I totally forgot about this. Yes, I would definitely agree! I love this cigar.

I'm gonna have to go with Fumadores #3 for Best NC Bargain of the Year. If timed right, a box can be had for ~$1.50 per stick. Though they are mixed filler, the construction and taste tend to be pretty spot on.
As for CCs, I don't think I've even smoked enough to say.

:-) I also love the LGC Wavell Maddies; $5 a stick at my local B&M.

Once again, Bob is 'da man.
:-) I agree with him but I think I like the Montecarlos better than the pans.

you should also try that NC ERDM that's wrapped in tissue paper. Very similar in taste, a few bucks more, Better cigar overall.

the pl pans are good for the money but i prefer the pl montecarlos for a bit more. pl pans are shortfiller + montecarlos longfiller. i would buy 10 boxes of the pl pan if i could get them for the price in cuba.
the jose l piedra petit cazadores is another good value.
don tomas classico is also good for the money.

I like the Brick House and La Traviata, but my favorite "bargain" cigar had to be the Tabaccos Baez SF. :-)

I had one of these last night that had about 6 months rest. It was surprisingly good, and smelled fantastic. Even Mrs. Brew thought so.

Anything by AJ Fernandez. Some tasty sticks, and pretty much all of his blends can be had cheap.

You know, this kicks back to that other thread about affordability.
Simply put, $5 a stick isn't a bargain
to me - I'll buy $5 sticks, but when I'm looking for bargains, I'm looking for cigars that are less than that.
So, the minor problem I see with this thread is that we didn't define the $$ range for bargain. Of course, bargain means different things to different people. To me, bargain sticks are under $3.00 each. What I got the other day was a bargain, normal $6.00 sticks for $2.50. And nobody anywhere is going to tell me that deal wasn't a bargain. OK, it was more a steal... But, that isn't a normal bargain cigar.
So, for my $$, the biggest bargain stick (normally under $3.00 a cigar) is Omar Ortez - usually about $2.60 a stick and excellent.
