She doesn't have to be, strictly speaking. Look at how they treated The Baroness in the new GI Joe movie. :-) I think it might be good to give Cat Woman a little more depth than they were able to give her in the second Batman, though Michelle squeezed a lot out of that character and did a good job. :-)

I am all for this as long as they keep Christian Bale off the screen as much as possible.
He plays Bruce Wayne like a robot and everytime he speaks as batman it sounds like he is hacking up a furball.
Micheal Keaton was the best batman ever. :-)

You are certainly entitled to an opinion, but I could not disagree more. Just as I really like the direction Daniel Craig has taken Bond, I like the new darker Batman best. The Batman is a tortured soul, a loner, a vigilante outside the law, and has no sense of humor or irony. To think that Keaton, Kilmer, or Clooney captured that essence is - IMHO - as ludicrous as saying Adam West did too. Just my :-).

And now, back to your regularly scheduled leering at Megan Fox.

I agree Selina Kyle is more of thief that Batman tolerates/sometimes loves. I imagined Selina to be around Batmans age.

Harley Quinn would have been cool to see mostly because Ledger being dead you could have said Joker was killed in Arkham and she wants revenge on Batman.

Victor Zsasz needs some love, all he has so far is a minor appearnce in Batman Begins.

Hush would be a good villian and a great movie.

I agree and disagree with this statement.

I agree with you that I like Nolan's version of the darker, humorless Batman. However I disagree that Keaton, Kilmer, Clooney, or even Adam West did not capture Batman's true essence. Nolan's films capture Batman's essence that is in the comic books from now all the way back to about 1989(ish). Bob Kane originally created Batman to be a dark character that was somewhat gray (neither fully good or bad) but was a hero nonetheless. Frank Miller revived this with The Dark Knight Returns and Batman: Year one, and Batman again became a dark figure from then on. However, there have been numerous incarnations of the Batman throughout the years. I think Adam West captured Batman's essence very well during his time. He was portraying the Dick Sprang and others version of Batman from the 40s and 50s, which was very cartoonish. Then in the 70s and 80s, Batman was a whole different character (Jim Aparo, Neal Adams, Dennis O'Neal versions). He wasn't cartoonish during this era, yet he wasn't a completely dark character either. Although Batman and Robin was probably the dumbest Batman movie of all time, I thought Clooney and Shumacher did an awesome job of melding the dark Batman with the cartoonish Batman. Something unique.

Needless to say, I think the Christopher Nolan films have been the best portrayal of Batman so far, but Batman has been re-vamped so many times that there is no one true Batman character (even if I do like the modern version of Batman the most).

It is true that the DC Universe has been made and re-made and re-re-made-made so many times that nobody knows WTF is real anymore.

Wait a second - "real"? Isn't this a comic book? :-)
