You do have a humidor for all these nice sticks, right?
:-)

Just kidding Kreth. I bought a 400ct recently. I even have my wife on board. Traded me starting cigar collection for her buying some dress she wanted. Works for me!

Oh to be young again! Take your time and find out what you like and don't like. That looks like a great selection to start with.
I second the recommendation that you pick up some Fuente 898, if not now, later. It's a great smoke that won't kill you and it's a good frame of reference for your taste and future suggestions.
Never, never let yourself be persuaded into liking something that you don't. If the whole world says they like Don Dingleberries and you don't, don't be afraid to say so.
It's all about what
you like.
Most of all, enjoy! And welcome to the slippery slope!

You have a great selection of smokes there. The Lot 23's are good but I tend toward the Lot 23 maduros. I love the Vintage 1990's and the Oliva G Maduros. You can't go wrong with some Padrons in the box either.
Happy smoking.

Glad you mentioned that. I am switching out the 23s for 23 Maduros. Gives me a better mix of nat. and maduro. Thanks a lot.

This is why I did not order right away. While I know in the end it is what I want, I love to get some opinions. I have already made 2 small changes to my list. Thanks again folks.

Very nice. I'm not much further down the slope. I started a little over a month ago with a 100 ct, and I may be upgrading soon.
:-)
Once you get your smokes, check out the PIF and other trading threads. It's a good way to get to try out some other smokes, especially boutique cigars that you may not find on your own.

IT IS DONE! My first order has been made. I am now working on putting together a wish list to try to get some good deals on cbid. So far I have the AF 898. If anyone else has some must have suggestions I would be happy to hear them. To those of you that already made suggestions I thank you! I hope to be making suggestions to others soon. I cannot wait for my humidor to get here so I can season it, and start filling it up.
Thanks for the welcome!

If you end up liking the Oliva G's, you have to try the Special G Maduro. Little perfecto and an awesome smoke.

By my count you've only ordered 40 cigars. They are going to get awful lonely in that 400 ct. humidor. You should sample what you've ordered and then buy boxes before SChip kicks in.
