I'd agree with CigarNut about Opus being overhyped. Good? OK, yeah. THAT good? Not in my opinion.
Underhyped is a matter of where you're getting your "hype". On this board, I'd have to say the JR Ultimate line. They are a superior cigar at a price even I can afford . . . occasionally, anyway.

Over - Drew Estate (I find their unflavored stuff to be "okay")
Under - Roma Craft (Those Cro Mags are delicious!)

Over: NC Cohibas. IMNSHO the sole reason they command the price they do is because of their name.
Under: another vote for Cromagnon

Over - Drew Estates in general, small production runs for a couple of their lines creating demand and hype.
Under - I'll get back to you on this one

Over: Anything Gurkha... seems like the whole brand is driven purely by hype. As prevalent as they are in the catalogs, I never hear much good to say about them around here.
Under: Anything 5 Vegas... for the price (even without a sale or big discount), I've liked almost every 5 Vegas stick I've smoked, from the Gold all the way to Cask Strength and AAA. I'm normally a mild-medium and infused kind of guy, but I'm always pleasantly surprised with almost any 5 Vegas stick I smoke, regardless of flavor profile or strength. Even the few that I haven't LOVED (Gold Maduro comes to mind) haven't been bad either, just not my cup of tea.

The Ashton remark Brian, are you basing that off of personal experience with the brand hence the "Just isn't for me?" statement? Just curious.
:-)
Yea, I wouldn't know about other sites. This is, and will remain, the only Cigar related site I go to, besides to buy Cigars.
With the Ashton's I've had, I wasn't really blown away. I think on here they have a pretty high reputation generally. For me, however, they aren't for me.

Hi BS. I could not agree more with those, ESPECIALLY Viaje. I never got the hype around them. Thanks for posting.
