best cigar i've smoked to date was a 99 upman 2 at my first herf with some really amazing canadian friends. I have a lot of stuff they gave me that may be better. But whether it was the cigar or the company 10000 points.

The best cigar I've had so far was a Padron series that I got in a newbie sampler. Not sure of the age gut it was so damn smooth! I've yet to have another that's come close, but then again there are so many more out there that I haven't tried.

Padron 40th anni maduro, have had 2 of these a few years back and loved them. They were never sold over here, so every trip to the USA I keep my eye out for some, no luck so far, but I have found a lot of other cigars I enjoyed while looking for these :-)

I don't think any of them was good as that first one you try. I've had probably about 150 since (come to think of it, I'm out and need to buy another box or 2), and a few of them really hit that spot! Had a couple 2000's I smoked just a few weeks ago that I got in a trade; these were from 2004. So they had about 4 years age on them. They were good, but really didn't age any from what I could tell. Tasted exactly the same as any 2000 straight out of a new box. I do like that consistency!

Still wait my one... Hard to think of the best one, as the occasion itself can add points to one's memory on a cigar.

I had a Partagas (NC) Limited Reserve Churchill in the mid 90's that especially evokes fond memories of being a "perfect" cigar. They were indeed a "limited reserve" product back then, but now it doesn't mean much with Partagas.

5 Vegas Series 'A' Archetype
Carlos Torano Siganture Collection Robusto
DPG Serie JJ Maduro Selectos
Partagas Black Label Crystal Tubo Robusto
Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro Robusto
Rocky Patel Vinatage 1990 Robusto

I know, I know, it's no one cigar but it's too hard to narrow it down to just one cigar but anyone of the 6 cigars I mentioned is a tasty smoke no matter what.

Either the Padron Londres maduro, or the Cubao....... either one is about all I ever want lately.

Really for me though any cigar can be greatly improved by the circumstances it is smoked under. Also it seems my tastes always change. Right now I am into Punch Coronas.

Don't have one often, but have not been disappointed: Partagas Limited Reserve Decadas No. 1 or 2.

Have never met a La Flor Dominicana that I didn't like, especially anything wrapped in an Oscuro wrapper.

I can always count on these and I mean always:
1. Fuente Anejo No. 46, 50
2. Fuente Hemingway Signature
3. CAO Brazilia Samba (maybe not popular with some BOTL, but they never disappoint me)
I never run out of these three and a few more I've not mentioned. If I get close (under 5) it's off to the B&M to re-stock ASAP!!

Yep, that's the best DPG. :-)

As far as the thread topic, don't know if I will ever find a 100, but I've really just started...
