I have a Yama 20oz vacuum brewer.

Ive never had vacuum brewed coffee before. At the last coffee trade show I was at in DC they had a few demos (large scale 5 or 7 pots at a time) but the crowd was too thick.

hand grinder huh? talk about old school... but I guess it becomes somewhat of a ritual... like your cigar pre-light routine.

That's pretty much the setup I would love to have. Hard to improve on that pair.

OK Introducing me to vacuum brewing and the option of old school hand grinding.
BUT...Can a hand grinder be set for consistent, reproducible grinds?
It's just a nut changing the opening size of the grind...Hard to have a setting switch for various grinds.
