They make pretty good cigars. Try a sampler!

I am planning my order out, but it has been one day and still no answer by email for the shipping estimation. I don't want to be surprised with a big shipping price, like some companies tend to do.

The guy who runs Taboo is a solid guy, but the sticks are tasteless at best and horrifyingly bad when not tasteless.

Nice guy who supports the troops but for the cigars...

Another pass here. I sampled them, darn good service but not my cup of tea.

I've ordered plenty from rob. Shipping is about $25CAN so you may as well stock up. I'd suggest adding some Oliva Vs to your order.

I ordered their 10 cigar sampler pack and enjoyed every one of them! They also have good deals on other brands --they are a good source for Padron's
:-)

HSG is excellent, as is the Twist. I also like the Dominican Maduro and the Limited Reserve Havana.

I enjoy twists very much, but I personaly feel the blend has changed in the last two years.
They have some of the best customer service ever!

So far, it looks pretty bad. I sent two emails and never got a response. Hopefully this will change.

The shipping rate will be calculated when you check out, it's always been $18 - $20 for shipping to Vancouver. Rob and Patrick are good people; great vendor to deal with, the Taboo blends are awesome and they also carry some other great offerings like Oliva and Padron. You can't go wrong ordering from them.
Edit: Not to mention that there's a shipping quote calculator in their site's shopping cart. It's pretty much bang on accurate, only thing it doesn't estimate is taxes if your package gets inspected by Canadian customs. Never been a problem for me.

I always have some Twists in my humi. I will be careful smoking up my last S.F. originals. I liked some others as well but don't remember what they were. I am not a fan of the HSG. Great customer service. SFOs are about as tasteless as a PAM but with more nicotine.

just ordered from taboo for the first time last wed. Patrick couldn't have been any nicer. Came home from work on friday and my box of padron family reserve no.45's were waiting for me, shipping under $7. would definitely order from them again.

I ordered several varieties of Taboo's in April of 2008 and had a generally good experience. I liked the Taboo Exotic Maduro Toro and The SFO's the best out of the first group and was anxious to order more.
I ordered a larger selection in Nov. of 08. and was very disappointed. In fact, some of the blends got my lowest rating ever. Bad burns, plugged cigars, acrid smoke and constant wrapper touch-ups. The SFO's that I had enjoyed in the first batch were very disappointing in the second batch. I actually tossed several cigars which I very, very seldom do. I generally stick with a cigar to the bitter end to see if it ever improves.
I know the customer service from Taboo is first class. I didn't say anything to Taboo because I found out what I needed to know. I know they would have replaced the cigars but, the main thing I look for when searching out new cigars is consistency from batch to batch and I didn't find that in this case so am not really interested in pursuing their cigars further.
But, the Taboo line may be something for the OP to check out. Perhaps I just got a bad batch. Some of the cigars smoked "wet" and possibly would have been better if stored at 65% for a longer time or dry boxed. But, as there are many brands that I can order and be happy with, I never ordered more Taboos. YMMV.

Yeah, it is important for a company to have consistency when selling a product. I would have to get an amazing batch the first time with a small order, and then get a horrible batch when I have spent a lot of money.
I just want to try some different cool cigars. I am also up for some other suggestion of decent priced cigars that are amazing on other websites, as long as they ship to Canada. Thanks so far everyone.

I think I noticed this before. I never smoke a Taboo that hasn't rested for at least 4 months.
