We'll have to coordinate ourselves for a game.

Anyone up for a game today? Or learning how to play?

Patrick and I have played a couple of games already. We tried setting up our own room, but it keeps disappearing when we are not there.

We have been setting up in the Canadian Room for now.

If you want to learn the game or play one, let us know.

:-)

I do. I checked out the how to play thingy on one of the links you left Ian. I might be able to play later. How long does a game generally last?

A full sized game can be done in 45-60 min. They can take longer, but you can also play on smaller sized boards for quicker games. It will still teach you the basics of the game.

Well, there's 4.5 hours time difference between us. It's 8:15 pm now and I will likely be up until around 12.

Ah. Another time perhaps. Where is St. John? Where are you in reference to some where nearby?

No problem.

I'm at the Eastern most point of North America.

Newfoundland and Labrador is red. St. John's is at the point furthest to the right.

We are getting a little freezing on the go now, but we know how to dress for it.

I could also do some direct teaching at KGS. There is a chat function, controls for teaching and multiple path recording to look at alternatives of a situation.

Keep going with what you are doing and let me know if you want to play around a bit.

You can also look at www.goproblems.com it's a great site for developing an eye for different situations that can come up in a game. There is a full archive of problems from beginner to advanced.
