Kevin.....please promise to live by my code for as long as they stay:
"I'll become homicidal long before I'll become suicidal."
Good luck, My Brother....if you come to Chicago for a weekend, let me know, I got a spare room.

You may not think this is a prayer thing, but I will keep you in my prayers anyway. Anytime family lives together for an extended period, no matter how well they get along, it can be stressful.
God's blessings upon you all, I will keep you in my prayers for strength and peace.
Peace of the Lord be with you.

That is my new mantra Tom!

If I have to bug out, I think I'll fly a triangle, Spokane to San Diego, then Chicago and back.

Don't forget Jersey. Maybe it smells a little and can be dirty and downright nasty in other sections but honestly, it's PARADISE in comparison to the situation your in!
:-)
Hang in there Brother!

End of the day update: As far as I can tell, the only other things the dogs peed on were my boots and tennis shoes, I kept a civil tongue in my mouth and I only mildly PO'ed my wife. I am now enjoying a Hydrocodone (For my back) a glass of wine and an 07 HU Regalias. Life is good
:-)
Thank you all for the positive and very funny thoughts, and please stay tuned for day 2 updates!

Just keep the homicide/suicide principle in mind until we meet again....or at least until your MIL's cats accidently get lost outside.

Lord, Grant me the serenity to
accept the things I cannot change,
Courage, to change the things I can, and
Wisdom to hide the bodies of those people
I had to kill because they pissed me off.
And also,
Help me to be careful of the toes I step on today,
As they may be connected to the ass that I may
have to kiss tomorrow.

Fixed it for ya Bro!

BTW, I told my wife that the next time those dogs pissed on my boots, I'd leave em outside until they looked like Jack Nicholson did at the end of the Shining!

For what it's worth, there was only one dog in "The Shining", and he was a very bad boy.
