Did you smoke the Robusto out of the Three pack, or the PR?

I believe he got it out of the Three pack, he got it from the buying a box with the hammer and the patch...

First off I am pretty sure all the Tat Black blends are the same. Obviously there are minor differences because of the size of the vitola, but they are all based on the same blend.

Second... this thread goes to show tastes are so subjective which is a good thing :-) I didn't think the Black Tubo was all that good when they were originally released, but smoking a couple lately I have been very pleased. My cigars are from the first release last year so they have some rest time which is needed I think, but mine are smoking great right now and I'm glad I didn't sell them off!

Sorry, what I meant was to ask him if he smoked the Robusto or the Petite Robusto out of the 3 pack (which includes both, along with a new CG)...

IMO, the El Truinfador tastes exactly like what a Tat Black Lancero would taste like.

Yesterday I smoked the robusto out of the new 3 pack with the 3 different sizes. I heard from the man himself that the black tubo blend was slightly different than the previous 2 blends. I'm not sure if it's the age of the cigars accounting for the differences, but yesterday's tasted way more like the tubo than it did the CG or the robusto with the shaggy foot. Not nearly as much spice and richness as the older two blacks. I had an OG black robusto about a month ago and it was far superior to the tubo blend and the new robusto I smoked yesterday.

Has anyone actually smoked the PR from the new Three pack? I have to photograph mine first, but am hoping someone has some thoughts on it...

Where does the Black Label Toro that was part of the first CRA Sampler fit in? Is this another variation on OR Black Label or just a unique size?

It'd be nice to see the Black Label expanded and offered on a more regular basis.

Same blend (ish), different vitola.

Well, there was already a CG (Jar) and Tubo release...

The black tubos need some time but the black CG is a nice cigar right now!

It's great! Smoked it this afternoon. Very typical of the other black labels!
