Jennings dropped some catchable balls too.
Don't get me wrong, I am no Packer's fan, but I can't get enough of Clay Mathews blowing up the puppysnuffer in the backfield.

The NFL would love a Packers vs. Patriots line up. Those are two of the main teams they huck worldwide to promote the NFL.

That would be the best possible outcome!

Really? Lynch has not done much all year, I was on his bandwagon at first, now I'm super happy we didn't go after him.

Please accept my apologies for the correction, but it's Green & Gold, not yellow & green.

course breaking 8 tackles in that last playoff game was pretty spectacular

The Pack certainly looks impressive. They have the most impressive core of wide receivers I can think of. Not to belabor the point, but if they can hang on to a few more of those balls that stick in their chest, they turn into a monster.
If Aaron Rodgers could possibly wrangle this Super Bowl away from the Steelers, which of course is impossible, the talking heads will speak of him in the same breath as Manning and Brady. If not next year, his time is definitely coming.
I'd be willing to concede the Super Bowl if they'd give us Flynn and take the raper off our hands.

I'd like nothing more than to see a Packers-Patriots Superbowl matchup, but with Rodgers at the helm instead of Flynn and the Pat's often variable defense this year, I'd be holding my breath the entire game!

Sadly I hate the Packers. I am a Bears fan now, always, and forever. Screw the Packers. I really hope that the Falcons roll over them. The sadder thing is that with how the playoffs have gone so far, I would not be surprised to see Seattle and Green Bay winning and playing for the NFC Championship. Of course the underdog, Seattle, would win to go on to play New England or the Jets in the Super Bowl. I say this cuz of how crazy it sounds now. BUT....Look at how the Saints got beat by Seattle. Look at how Green Bay beat the Eagles. It has been a very crazy season that has continued into the playoffs and we are all in for a big surprise this year.

I knew that was coming and I agree, an amazing performance...on that one run. Other than that, I'm glad we didn't pursue him.

Deal, as much as I like Flynn, not just a player but a person (I've smoked several cigars and have played a lot of poker with him) I'd trade him in a heartbeat for another Lombardi trophy.

Lynch's ability to run the ball when the Packers go three and four wide would've been a thing of beauty to watch. He's had absolutely no running lanes to speak of in Seattle. Brandon Jackson is made of metal and it seems that they make offensive lineman trousers out of magnets in Green Bay; Kuhn, for some reason unbeknownst to me, loves to run East-West; news flash big fella, you're a hog molly, buck it up in there! James Starks, well, before this game he'd done jack squat but the coaches are high on him so I have cautious optimism. Whoever it is, as long as the Packers have a semblance of an effective running game they'll win the Conference.

I was happy to see the Pack win on the road yesterday against the Eagles.
What was more impressive was seeing a blossoming running game coming around just when they need it. James Starks ran the ball 23x for 123 yds.
If James Jones can hold onto the bomb in next game, then we'll be looking good:-)

That would be a cool deal, very retro.
I think they have a good chance at it.
Oh, by the way, I am not so sure that the Eagle offense sucked. I think that the Packer defense stepped it up and played a good game, big plays when needed.
Go Pack!

Really? I'm inclined to disagree. Falcons were playing better ball at the beginning of the season and just barely beat the Packers. The Packers are playing better ball now.
I will say this, I think it is going to be a good (tight) game for football fans, Packer fans - Falcons fans - fans of professional football in general.
Peace of the Lord be with you.

For what reason would you want Lynch? It was AJ Hawk that they wanted, and I am glad we kept him. He's contributed way more than Lynch would have.

Hawk wasn't even a starter at the beginning of the season and is only in there due to the rash of injuries the linebacker corps has endured. He's been, "decent" but by all means not, "good." Why would I want Lynch you ask? Well, I guess it'd be nice if our quarterback wasn't the teams leading rushing in a quarter of the games this season and actually have a threat of a running game to ease a little pressure off of the passing game (if anything, it goes to show how great the passing game has been this year knowing that they're going to throw and still have the ability for the most part to execute).
