I grew up in restaurant kitchens and Kitchen Confidential is so brutally accurate to my experience that it was disturbing. I loved that book. I like his show a lot as well.

I agree. I did a lot of kitchen time and some of his stories were dead on. Especially the way he talks about waitrons.

Another fan here. Been watching his show since the begining as have a lot of people. After all Bourdain is nearly single handedly responsible for Travel Channel succeeding in the first place.
