Here's the lite rod. I have to make 3 of them. It worked out great and the hardware is totally hidden. It worked out great cause the wood was already there for the old lites which were shot.

Here's how it looks lit up. It looks harsher in the pic because of my camera settings, but it's as close to the real look as I could get.
The lighting is very soft and very sweet. Kinda like a jewelry counter.

Looks great Scott! I just dropped by the post office and gave them some cigars for you. You can put them in your new cabinet. :-)

I got all the lights installed and I have a low power problem.
I have to split up the leads to supply them with different rails from the psu.
If that doesn't do it, I'll have to bump up the psu or split the lites up on different ac adaptors.
Ugh.
In my defense, I had the sense to pull extra wires in case this became an issue. :-)

I would be but I had to go help a buddy move (in with me, he's on the skids) and then I had to fix the neighbor's tub.
Now I gotta take Kerri somewhere.
Then when I get home I may be able to work on my baby again.

that cabinet is really nice man.

how does that moist-n-aire work for you?

i have been looking for an old china closet to convert and i am still up in the air aboot what kind of active humidification device to use. i know those have been around for a long time but there are some new devices out with more bells and whistles...

Ya know, I didn't have any expectations on the moistnaire, but it's working fabulously.
The humi is pretty wide open so it's able to move the humidity around really well. I have a bunch of hydras that I was planning to use, but now I'm not sure what I want to do.
For the moment the moistnaire is doing an excellent job and I'm not using any beads at all.

I just got all my lights hooked up and running from the control panel.
I had one bum light and I just replaced it.
Next is to pull wire for the hydras and fans. I have to run for more wire though, so I'm in a holding pattern right now. :-)
