My suggestion was, if you`ve never smoked an Opus,
start with the least ligero sizes, although they are all stronger cigars.
FF, Petite Lancero would be the 2 to start with.

MSRP on Opus Xes is actually quite reasonable. $10 to $15 on the average, some vitolas are less, a few are more. Special/rare shapes can run higher.

Note, that state taxes are going to be on top of that, so depending on how oppressive your state is they can be significant, but, if you order from out of state you should not be charged it.
WOW! I had no Idea. Everywhere I have looked online and B&M's have been 15.00 minimum. That was for a perfection#5 also...I bought one...:-)
I have saw them for sale on here too and yet too see one near "MSRP".
The hunt is on.

Maybe a link if anyone find them for msrp and in stock.?

I just bought an xXx Belicosos for $9 (including tax) at my b&m. Their robustos are around the same price.

MSRP on the xXx is 10.25, i would buy all of them if i were you.
The owner made a mistake or he`s discounting Opus, which i`ve never seen.

Man, I'd get them online...around $12-14...B&M has them for about the same price too. I would stay away from bid sites on OpusX...they tend to get bid more than their value...try the Power Ranger. If I were you, I'd let it sit...had some outstanding 6-8 year OpusX...as a fresh cigar, I think they're horrible imo...

I really like the one Opus X I had and the Lost City, while pricey was also an outstanding smoke IMO.

+1 My favorite.....I stear away from bid sites, rather looking at various B&M sites online that offer decent pricing when they are actually in stock.

With the exception of Tampa Sweethearts, that's a great list of vendors to avoid when looking to purchase Opus Xes.

Offer a bit of constructive help then to us ignorant shoppers. I just used the Google...the same one that if I had not, some snide comment would have undoubtedly hatched.

I think he just did.
A bit edgy but helpful nonetheless.

Wouldn't it be easier to tell someone the definitive place to go for these 10.00 opusx instead of mention one place to start with prices that are comparable to what I have found locally and was told the prices were "double to quadruply" overpriced?
I guess if I knew of the hot deal I would not offer snarkey responses without really having the info to back it.
I offered Garry help the best I could. Wont others do the same?

I think I understand. But the comment was on the vendors. Not on your effort or intent to help. I didn't see it as a jab at you. Just a word of warning that those vendors may be overpriced.

My :-) and worth as much.

I have yet to find a good opus vendor outside of deadwood tobacco and oltimescigars. They are currently out of stock however. They charge MSRP on most of their Opus products.

I did give him an MSRP vendor, way back in post #5. In fact, I was the first person in the thread to post a vendor with better prices.
