For some reason this makes me keep thinking of Gen. Billy Mitchell. We should moor that POS somewhere, then bomb it until it sinks.
:-)
Hey, there's your name for you . . . The S. S. POS!

It's a barge, which means it doesn't have an engine, which means it isn't an "S.S." (steam ship). It
would likely have berthing, a galley and mess decks with some random work spaces. I wouldn't want to keep it on open water as they're usually flat keeled and unstable in choppy seas. I can imagine it would make a great party venue, though.

I have a little experience with them from my time in the Navy. They would make a good party barge. They're sturdy, simply built and easy to maintain, relatively.

I'll throw in 10 bucks! ALL HANDS ON THE POOP DECK! how about S.S. dog rocket? Who gets to be the skipper? Seeing as it has no motor i don't think any boating experience what so ever would be required.

Not totally accurate. Sill have to have firefighting, SOLAS, and vessel operation experience. Just no navigational experience necessary.

Ladies, no.... but there are always women willing to hang out for free booze. And admit it, you'd rather invite them anyway.

So many comebacks, so little political correctness.

You weren't exactly clear as crystal here . . . does this mean you're in, or out?
