I think Fremont is great. Cool old casinos, and that killer light show every night. It sucks if you are in a group and have to head back and forth to the strip all the time.
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay on the strip next time, check out the Imperial Palace. It is not the nicest place on the strip, but its right in the middle, across from Caesers and the Mirage. It is not a dump by any means, its just old. It is way cheaper than its neighbors.

Here's my Casa Fuente stash . I smoked a Casa Fuente Churchill while drinking a Mojito and a couple Fat Tires . Excellent cigar and great smoking spot to people watch . Steve Garvey(Dodgers) was at the sports collectibles store across the way signing autographs , about 3 the entire time I was there(2-1/2 hrs) . They had a video camera set on him playing on a tv in the store window , I thought it kinda sucked for him as not to many people seemed to know who he was . . I had a great time away with my wife for a few days . Thanks again for the tips on Vegas .

Nice pics in this thread.
Man, I can't wait to hit up LV. A few friends moved up there. Casa Fuente is most definitely on my "to do" list.

What ?!?!?!? Closing the store down? Man, I really loved sitting outside the shop smoking a cigar and drinking some Mojitos. Time for a emergency trip to Vegas.

Last time I was at Casa Fuente it was Pete Rose across the way. Even he didn't attract a huge number of people. Maybe it's an advertising thing or just so many other things to do in Vegas people don't bother.

Vegas is great! Lot of stuff to do. Take her up in the Eifel Tower at Paris. You can even eat up there. Nice place

You know I won't go all the way to Vegas without trying to meet up.

You've got a point, there is never anything to eat on the corner of Gibson and Horizon Ridge in Las Vegas.....unless you like sand....

I hope Casa is still open in October. The wife and I are finally getting away without the kids. My first trip to Vegas and I am sure it won't be my last.

With the news that Casa Fuente might be closing in the near future, I've been looking at flights because I definitely need to go back. Might not get out there til September though, so I hope it doesn't happen soon.

Well, if it a rumor on the internet without any sources at all, it must be true.
