Wouldn't surprise me if Macanudo was the best-selling cigar.
Mild, easily found(almost everyone carries them, even Rite-Aid), fairly priced, name recognition and marketing.
Most casual smokers tend to go for milder stuff and I guess most retailers/B&M employees would point to those.

Well the Macanudo and bud light comparison makes sense, but then it seems like a completely different explanation would be needed for the popularity of Acids. Wouldn't the drink comparison for Acids be something like
this?
