Drop a shot of that into a BudLight and chug. Takes me back to my college days. ;-)

Amaretto and scotch is well worth it. If you're going to do it, you might as well use a blended scotch like Dewar's White. But it's a great change of pace cocktail.

I grew up with this stuff as a staple in my grandfathers house. I still love it to this day, over ice. It always reminds me of my nonno.

i do enjoy a few fingers with a few ice cubes every now and then. It does pair well with *certain* cigars, even though its on the sweet side.. but the ice cubes help..

Had some Amaretto tonight, on ice, with an '08 Mag 50...paired very nicely. Pinkies high!

I have actually heard of morons doing this (with other types of alcohol). What would possess anyone to even think about this? :-)

Same here...was a staple with my grandfather as well.

The only time I see my father drinking (which is almost never) he usually has Disaronno. To be honest, I've never tried with a cigar...I usually favor bourbon, but I'm going to give some Disaronno a shot next time I smoke.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but what kind of smokes went best for people?

No Threadjack.. It has texture here...

I have found that i appreciate Cohiba with the taste of amaretto. The Creamy taste goes hand and hand with it, and it doesnt give the illusion of Overkill (and in some cases, underkill; like a light Hoyo). Something too strong wont mesh well with the sweetness, but Cohiba is still strong enough to have significant tasting notes to rise above the sweetness.. Granted, This is all purely my opinion
