009 IMHO. I've punched anything from 37 RG Lanceros to 54 RG Sublimes with it.
I would venture a guess the 007 is too small for anything larger than 46 RG , just a guess....even though I think I still have a brand new 007 somewhere.

I've punched lots of 52 and 54 RG cigars with the 007, Bill.

Recently played with a 009, didnt actually cut with it, but given the design that is where i would be spending my money if looking for a punch

You can always punch the cigar twice with the smaller punch, just make the punches slightly offset from center and overlap them. Like a slightly squashed "8"

Yeah I've done that a few times. I just figured if the 009 does 37-54 why bother with a smaller punch. I suppose it might be preference, but I haven't heard much about that ever.
